An idiom is a group of words which have a different meaning when used together from the one they would have if you took the meaning of each word separately.


JUST IN CASE


E.g. It doesn’t look like it will be cold but we should take coats just in case.

To forget something.
To be part of a legal matter.
To do something to be sure of the outcome.
To remember something.
